PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in tracking adjustment and to shorten adjustment time.SOLUTION: A tracking adjustment device comprises: a determination section 43 configured to determine which has been set, a first adjustment state in which the focus lens of the lens device 100 is adjustable as a result of setting the zoom lens of the lens device 100 at a tele-side position or a second adjustment state in which the tracking lens of the lens device 100 is adjustable as a result of setting the zoom lens at a wide-side position; an area setting section 44 configured to switch the size of a detection area for detecting the focus state of the lens device 100 between the first state and the second state on the basis of a determination result obtained from the determination section 43; an evaluation value generating section 46 configured to generate an evaluation value within the detection area set by the area setting section 44 in all screen areas corresponding to image signals obtained from a camera device 200; and a monitor 14 configured to display an evaluation value generated by the evaluation value generating section 46.
