PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a slewing trouble caused by a switching abnormality of a communication valve, in a slewing work machine that includes the communication valve for directly making an outlet-side pipeline of a hydraulic motor communicate with a tank or an inlet side of the motor without the intermediary of a control valve.SOLUTION: Target torque is determined on the basis of motor outlet-side pressure generated on the outlet side of a hydraulic motor 11 in the absence of communication valves 26 and 27, from a meter-out aperture area of a control valve 13 determined from control input of a slewing remote control valve 12 and a flow rate of the hydraulic motor 11. Torque obtained by subtracting actual torque, which is actually generated in the hydraulic motor 11, from the target torque is output as a torque command for a slewing motor. |
