PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for generating test data for a program, configured to generate test data appropriate for a program using an object type variable.SOLUTION: A test case generation method includes: generating a first test case by symbolic execution using a symbol variable including a control variable indicating a state of an object type variable input to a program to be tested; excluding a condition to be satisfied by the control variable from pass conditions of the first test case; generating a second test case by adding a condition to be satisfied by the object type variable; and extracting a third test case by excluding synonymous second test cases.
