PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire stripping method, and the like, capable of substantially equalizing the strip length and the length of a core wire exposed by stripping, when peeling a coat from the tip of a wire where the outer periphery of the core wire, formed by stranding a plurality of single wires, is coated with resin.SOLUTION: In a stripping device 400, the tip of a wire clamped by a one side wire clamp device 100 is cut, at first, at a cut position P1a. Since a portion where the core wire exists is cut after the core wire shrinks, the core wire and the cut surface of the coat are arranged. Subsequently, the coat is peeled off from the tip of the one side wire at a strip position P1b. Since strip work is performed while arranging the cut surface substantially, the strip length is substantially equal to the length of the core wire exposed by stripping. |
