PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of suppressing an image defect from generating after a change of a toner storage part.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus 1 includes: an image formation part 30 having an image carrier, a developing part and a transfer part; a toner storage part capable of supplying and replacing a toner to the developing part; a toner quantity detection part 20 capable of detecting a toner amount of the toner storage part; a printing rate calculation part 92 that calculates, as an average printing rate, an average area of a toner image per prescribed area formed on a transfer target material at the image formation part 30 until a toner amount detected at the toner quantity detection part 20 becomes lower than a preset toner amount from a change of the toner storage part; and a printing sheet number setting part 93 that sets, if a toner amount detected at the toner quantity detection part 20 is lower than the preset toner amount, the number of sheets of the transfer target material on which a toner image can be formed at the image formation part 30 from the time, according to the average printing rate calculated at the printing rate calculation part 92. |
