PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium processing apparatus and a medium processing system for determining coercive force of a magnetic body without inquiry to a host device with a more simple configuration.SOLUTION: A medium processing apparatus includes: a writing unit that writes information related to an account of a customer in a magnetic body formed on a medium as writing information with a current value appropriate to a predetermined coersive force; a reading unit that reads the information written in the magnetic body; and a control unit that determines whether or not the coersive force of the magnetic body is the predetermined coersive force on the basis of a comparison result between reading information read by the reading unit and the writing information written by the writing unit. |
