PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal authentication device which can inhibit a password from being leaked by crimeware, etc.SOLUTION: A personal authentication device 1 is developed to perform personal authentication using light emission colors lighted by an indicator 10. The device comprises: the indicator 10 which handles a plurality of light emission colors and lights a determined light emission color; a push button 11 for a user to perform a button pushing operation; and personal authentication means 12 which performs processing that causes the indicator 10 to change light emission colors at predetermined time intervals in predetermined light emission order, and when the user pushes the push button 11 while the indicator 10 lights the registered light emission color that is registered in advance, and also an input time during which the push button 11 is pushed matches a registered input time associated with the registered light emission color, determines that personal authentication is successful. |
