PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that appropriately instructs a user to switch on/off a cassette heater without using a heater control relay or the like.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a cassette heater 2 for heating a recording sheet in a cassette 16, an ammeter 3 for detecting an on/off state of the cassette heater 2, a cassette heater switch 5 for a user to turn on/off the supply of an electric current to the cassette heater 2, a display unit 12 for displaying information, and a humidity sensor 11 for detecting humidity. The image forming apparatus displays information in the display unit 12 to instruct a user to turn on/off the cassette heater switch 5 on the basis of the humidity detected by the humidity sensor. |
