Method of producing a body electrode

The invention relates to a method of producing a body electrode from one or more galvanically active sensor(s) which is or are connected at the body contact side to a layer of an electrically conducting, adhesive, elastic, hydrophilic material that adheres to the skin and has on the side facing away from the body a covering or supporting layer of an elastic, non-adhesive material which is characterised in that the layer adhering to the skin and the covering or supporting layer are cast in one mould during production of the electrode. This method dispenses with the problems arising in the previously employed punching method, especially on punching of the conducting layer adhering to the skin.
