PURPOSE: Method and load distribution device controlling transmission of a packet between server and multiple hosts, method and server of receiving a packet from the load distribution device are provided to minimize damage due to distributed attack. CONSTITUTION: A load distribution device (10) includes an identification information processing unit (11), a packet input unit (12), a host identification unit (13), an authentication judgment unit (14), a packet transmission unit (15) and a database (16). The packet input unit receives a packet having a server as a destination from one host of the plurality of hosts. The host identification unit analyzes the packet and identifies one host. The authentication judgment unit judges whether the identified host is authenticated by the server or not. The packet transmission unit transmits the packet to the server according to the judged result. The identification information processing unit receives the identification information of the host authenticated by the server of the plurality of hosts from the server and stores the identification information in the database. The authentication judgment unit judges whether the identified host using the database is the authenticated host or not.
