PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear light source device in which the quantity of light is prevented from being reduced extremely in an end portion of a rod-shaped light guide body, the linear light source device comprising the light guide body, a light source including an LED and a reflection member surrounding the light source.SOLUTION: The linear light source device comprises: the rod-shaped light guide body including an emission surface extending along a length direction and a reflection groove part composed of a rugged groove on a back surface opposed to the emission surface; and the light source which is disposed in counter to one end face of the light guide body. The linear light source device further comprises the reflection member in a recessed shape which is mounted to one end of the light guide body while surrounding the light source, and of which the diameter is expanded from the light source to the light guide body on a cross section along the length direction of the light guide body. A reflection surface is provided on an inner surface of the reflection member, and the reflection surface closer to an opening of the reflection member is a diffusing reflection surface partially. |
