PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a high rigidity aluminum composite material containing an aluminum oxide component by effectively using cement.SOLUTION: A method for producing an aluminum composite material comprises: a decalcification treatment step of making a calcium oxide component elute from cement to produce decalcified cement having a reduced content of a calcium oxide component; and an aluminum oxide production step of bringing molten aluminum into contact with the decalcified cement to replace metal oxide components, other than the calcium oxide component, contained in the decalcified cement, particularly at least a silicon dioxide component by aluminum oxide. |
