PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume composition containing a compound having excellent mixing characteristics with other various perfumes and that is capable of imparting a stronger floral perception by mixing.SOLUTION: A perfume composition contains 3,6-dimethylheptane-2-ol. The perfume composition may furthermore contain one or more types selected from the group consisting of, e.g., 7-methyloctane-3-ol, esters, carbonates, aldehydes, ethers, lactones, and alcohols other than 3,6-dimethylheptane-2-ol. |
