PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a near-infrared absorbent dispersion liquid which is capable of manufacturing a near-infrared absorption laminate excellent in transparency and to provide a near-infrared absorption resin composition produced by using a dispersion liquid obtained by the manufacturing method and the near-infrared absorption laminate excellent in transparency.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the near-infrared absorbent dispersion liquid obtained by dispersing a diimmonium compound in a diluent is provided and the near-infrared absorption laminate in which the near-infrared absorption resin composition produced by using the near-infrared absorbent dispersion liquid obtained by the manufacturing method is laminated on a transparent base material is provided.
