PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus which prevents the damage of an open/close mechanism even when the electronic apparatus is dropped in the state where a housing is open.SOLUTION: A portable telephone 2 includes: an operation side housing 10; a display side housing 20; a slide mechanism which connects the operation side housing 10 with the display side housing 20 so as to open and close; and a cover 222 which is provided at the display side housing 20 and covers at least a part of a side surface of the operation side housing 10, the cover 222 which is formed protruding from a front surface or a rear surface of the display side housing 20 and has an elastic member in at least a part thereof. The cover 222 is provided so as to separate from each side part of the operation side housing 10 with increasing distance from a joining part between the cover 222 and the display side housing 20. |
