PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve practicality of the strength of a chin guard in a full face helmet state, and also to form a shape of the chin guard so as to adapt to a size of a cap body.SOLUTION: A helmet A includes the chin guard 1 constituting an outermost layer of the helmet A, bridging between both right and left sides across a front face opening part B1 of the cap body B that is formed in an open-face shape, and pivotally supported so as to be rotatable in a vertical direction with a shaft center along a horizontal direction of the cap body B as the rotation center thereof. The chin guard 1 includes: a surface layer member 2 formed of a material with flexibility and capable of changing the shape thereof into a shape adapted to a different size of the cap body B by being bent; and a core member 3 formed of a material with rigidity and fixed to an inner side of the surface layer member 2. The core member 3 suppresses the bending of the surface layer member 2 so that the shape of the surface layer member 2 is adjustable to a shape adapted to the size of the cap body B. |
