摘要 Provided is a current collector that has exceptional high-rate properties and demonstrates an adequate safety function in secondary cell or capacitor applications; and an electrode, a secondary cell, or a capacitor in which the current collector is used. The present invention provides a current collector provided with metallic foil and a 0.1 to 10 µm thick conductive layer formed on an outer surface of the metallic foil. The conductive layer contains a conductive material and a binder material. The melting point of the binder material is 80 to 150°C. The binder material has one or more endothermic peaks during a temperature raising process in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) from normal temperature to 200°C. The binder material has a difference between peaks of 15°C or more when two or more endothermic peaks are present. The binder material has one or more exothermic peaks during a temperature lowering process. The exothermic peak of the binder material is within 50 to 120°C when there is one exothermic peak, and the half- width of the exothermic peak is 10°C or less. When the binder material has two or more exothermic peaks, the highest exothermic peak is within 50 to 120°C and the half-width of the exothermic peak is 10°C or less.
