A method for inspecting for defects in a coloration layer formed on a glass plate, wherein the method comprises a first step for using an image of the glass plate under inspection and setting a plurality of inspection points on a boundary of the coloration layer, a second step for measuring angles formed by two line segments linking the set inspection points and adjacent inspection points on both sides, and a third step for comparing the measured angles and a predetermined inspection detection angle and determining that a defect has been detected in the coloration layer if the measured angles are smaller than the inspection detection angle.
