<p>The present invention relates to a network drive-based server-oriented document management gate system, in which the document file stored as a database in a document management server is shared in the format of a file system of a computer terminal and an interface, and the unique functions of the document management server are interfaced to the context menu of the document file. The network drive-based server-oriented document management gate system comprises: an extended shell installed in the computer terminal and formed by adding a function to the shell of a program (hereinafter, file explorer) for exploring a file system (hereinafter, local file system) in the computer terminal; a file-sharing virtualization unit for establishing a file-sharing session with the computer terminal in accordance with a file sharing protocol and shares a document as a file (hereinafter, document file) in the format of a local file system; and a document-sharing connection unit for receiving information (hereinafter, shared information) regarding the sharing of the document from a document management server and transmitting the information to the extended shell, and receiving a command (hereinafter, shared command) regarding the sharing of the document from the extended shell and transmitting the command to the document management server. The extended shell displays the information regarding the sharing of the document as a context menu of the document file, the shared information contains the shared command, and the shared command selected by the context menu is transmitted to the document-sharing connection unit. According to the above-described document management gate system, an interface for a user-friendly network drive and a strong version and authority management mechanism of the document management server are combined, to thereby support sharing of and simultaneous collaboration on the controlled content, provide an easy and quick access pathway to the content, and induce the activation of document management and natural document centralization.
