PURPOSE: A pipe laying vessel is provided to perform a pipe laying work in a deep sea by uniformly dispersing stress applied to the connection portion of a hull and a stinger and extending the length of the stinger. CONSTITUTION: A pipe laying vessel (10) comprises a stinger (40). The stinger is protruding to the outside of a hull to guide a pipeline (20) when the pipeline is laid and supports the pipeline. The stinger has a closed loop type frame for surrounding the edge of the pipeline. The pipeline is supported to the inner space of the frame and enters into the sea. |
