<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control device capable of easily and highly accurately detecting failure of a network driver, in the vehicular control device having the network driver for performing data communication via an on-vehicle network. <P>SOLUTION: A CAN (controller area network) driver 106 performs the data communication via a CAN network, and has a register 202a for setting various information and a communication state required for the data communication, and a RAM 201 for storing transmission-reception data. A CPU 101 measures time until the register 202a becomes a request state to a processing request to the CAN driver 106, and determines failure of the CAN driver 106 based on the measured time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
