<p>A sole board 10 includes an upper surface with a supporting recess 40 to receive a scaffold base plate therein. The supporting recess has a lateral extent substantially less than a lateral extent of the upper surface. The upper surface is configured to slope upwards from an external perimeter toward the supporting recess. A lower surface is provided for contact with the ground, the lower surface comprising a resilient surface 80. This is intended to prevent damage occurring to the ground surface. Preferably, the sole board comprises a foam core sandwiched between an upper skin which defines the upper surface and a lower skin which defines the lower surface.</p> |
