<p>A process for producing a soft olefinic substance is carried out as follows. Any one of n reactors (n: an integer of 2 or greater) is regenerated, and n-1 reactors excluding the regenerated reactor are connected to each other in series so as to form a reaction system. A feed gas consisting of dimethyl ether and a steam gas is introduced in either of terminal reactors of the reaction system. In the reaction system, the feed gas is brought into contact with a zeolite catalyst to thereby produce a soft olefinic substance. The produced soft olefinic substance is recovered from the other terminal reactor of the reaction system. After completion of regeneration treatment, the terminal reactor in which the feed gas was introduced is separated from the reaction system, and the regenerated reactor is connected to the terminal reactor from which the soft olefinic substance was recovered. A feed gas is introduced in the terminal reactor not being the regenerated reactor to thereby produce a soft olefinic substance. The soft olefinic substance produced in the regenerated reactor is recovered, and the separated reactor is regenerated.</p> |
