<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunlight collector capable of efficiently receiving sunlight collected by a light collecting means such as a curved mirror and lens without using a sophisticated tracking device. <P>SOLUTION: This sunlight collector used for collecting and receiving sunlight includes: the light collecting means 6 constituted of the curved mirror or lens 4; and a ball lens 8 installed at the focus or in the vicinity of the focus of the curved mirror or the lens 4. Sunlight collected by the light collecting means 6 and then, transmitted through the ball lens 8 is received. The sunlight collector further includes a light guiding passage 12. The sunlight transmitted through the ball lens 8 is made incident from an incident end of the light guiding passage 12, and the outgoing sunlight is received. When a distance between the ball lens 8 and the incident end face of the light guiding passage 12 is represented as L and the diameter of the ball lens 8 as d, L/d is 0.2 or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
