The encoder of the present invention comprises: a rotary shaft; a base which supports the rotary shaft; a scale base which has a hollow through which the rotary shaft penetrates and is coupled to the rotary shaft through the hollow; and a scale installed on the scale base. The scale base is extended to the base to prevent the contamination of inner members caused by a lubricant leaking from a bearing and prevent the scale from inclining. |
