<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic powder for a radiowave absorber, which can achieve excellent radiowave absorption performance in a high-frequency band ≥1 GHz with a smaller sheet thickness than that of a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: Powder of Z-type hexagonal ferrite comprises: a component A comprising at least one alkaline earth metal element and Pb; a component M comprising one or more metal elements excluding bivalent Fe; Fe; and oxygen, wherein the hexagonal ferrite has a composition satisfying a relation 1.2≤x≤2.5, when the molar ratio between the component M and Fe is assumed to satisfy M component:Fe=x:24. In the magnetic powder for a radiowave absorber, the Z-type hexagonal ferrite particles constituting the powder have an average aspect ratio of 4 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
