<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resin employed in a thermal transfer image receiving sheet excellent both in the dyeing properties of dye and in the release properties of the thermal transfer image receiving sheet, and to provide a resin dispersion using the resin and the thermal transfer image receiving sheet. <P>SOLUTION: This resin for the thermal transfer image receiving sheet is obtained by additive polymerization and condensation polymerization of (a) a stock monomer of polyester, (b) a stock monomer of addition polymerization-system resin including at least one of styrene and styrene derivative, and (c) amphoterically reactive monomer consisting of at least one of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and their derivatives under the condition that (a) the stock monomer of polyester contains alcoholic component including ≥80 mol% of alkylene oxide adduct of 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
