PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply device preventing pressure on a secondary side of a water supply pump from becoming excessive. SOLUTION: The water supply device 1 includes a plurality of pump units respectively connected to a branch pipe branching off a suction pipe 12 in at least three directions, and having a water supply pump and a motor; a pump package 13 having a control panel (a controlling means) 40; a discharging pipe 14 provided on a downstream side of the pump package 13, an elevated water tank (a water supply portion) 16 connected to the discharging pipe 14 and provided with a water level detector 15, and an automatic opening/closing valve 19 provided on a primary side of the elevated water tank 16. The automatic opening/closing valve 19 is closed according to a water level detected by the water level detector 15.
