Vehicle machine or boat-engine starter - prevents theft by responding only to driver's wt. when seated using horizontal balance and sensor

A driver's own-wt. starter for motor vehicles and motor boats is mounted beneath the driver's seat. The wt. applied to the seat is detected. If the correct driver's wt. is applied to the seat, the engine is started via a horizontal balance and sensor arrangement (6). If a wt. greater or less than that of the driver is applied to the seat then a pressure wt. and sensor arrangement opens an electronic circuit, preventing the engine from being started. The correct wt. can be adjusted (7). USE/ADVANTAGE - Achieves greater security than previous models and is easily mounted.
