FAIL SAFE APPARATUS FOR ELECTRONIC MECHANICAL BRAKE

The present invention relates to a fail-safe apparatus for an electric brake. The invention comprises a pedal piston connected to a brake pedal; a pedal simulator which includes a first lever connected to one side of the pedal piston; and a driving unit which includes a piston pressurizing a brake pad moving out by the rotation of a screw; a connection member that one end is connected to one side of the first lever and the other end is connected to one side of the screw; a second lever in contact with a part between both ends of the connection member to pressurize the connection member by rotating; and a solenoid connected to the other end of the second lever to rotate the second lever. The solenoid pressurizes the connection member through the second lever when the solenoid is operated. The screw rotates by the tension applied to the connection member and the operation of the pedal simulator.
