According to an embodiment of the present invention, a hot rolling apparatus comprises: a roughing mill for roughing a heated slab; a first thermoscope for measuring the temperature of a hot rolled steel strip roughed through the roughing mill; a cooling device installed in the rear of the first thermoscope having more than one injection nozzle for spraying a cooling liquid to an area at high temperatures according to a first temperature distribution measured through the first thermoscope; and a controller connected to the first thermoscope and the cooling device for controlling the cooling device according to the first temperature distribution. |
