PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device capable of performing high-definition image recording even if a conveying mechanism for conveying a recording medium causes variation in the conveying speed of the recording medium, and to provide a control method for the image recording device and its program. SOLUTION: A storage part 3 stores correction parameters for correcting the timing to cause nozzle rows 7 (7-1 to 7-N) to eject ink. An input part 19 obtains the selection input of the correction parameters. Correcting parts 5 (5-1 to 5-M) correct the timing for each nozzle row 7 (7-1 to 7-N) based on detected information on a starting point of a conveyor belt 10 generated by a starting point detecting part 12, conveyance information on the recording medium generated by a conveyance information generating part 11, and the selected correction parameters.
