摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a structure by which brush abrasion powders from surfaces of a plurality of conductive parts can be discharged more effectively in a brush sliding contact mechanism for a rotary electric machine. SOLUTION: Flanges 68 of the insulating spacers 64 are respectively provided so as to be opposed to sideways in the axial direction of a plurality of slip rings 60. At a part shifted in the axial direction from each slip ring 60 of each flange 68, a ventilation passage 76 is provided which penetrates through both side surfaces in the axial direction of the each flange 68. Each ventilation passage 76 is inclined in the axial direction of the each flange 68. Abrasion powders of each brush 62 generated on the surface of the slip rings 60 by sliding contact between the brush 62 and the slip ring 60 can be discharged from the surface of the slip ring 60 through the each ventilation passage 76.
