PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine suitably coping with fraudulence. SOLUTION: In the game machine, when the change of a state in a game machine body or near the game machine is detected by state detection means, while the progress of a game is limited by game progress limiting means on the basis of the detection, the updating of a random number counter by counter updating means is permitted by counter updating permitting means even while the progress of the game is limited by the game progress limiting means. Thus, the game machine copes with the fraudulent action of turning the distribution of game media by distribution means to a result advantageous to a player himself/herself by limiting the progress of the game, and also copes with the fraudulent action caused by the fraudulent read of the value of the random number counter by updating the random number counter even while the progress of the game is limited.
