PURPOSE: A safety helmet is provided to be able to remarkably improve the space efficiency in keeping and carrying, and the convenience in use as the safety helmet is manufactured in a retractable manner, which is able to reduce the volume. CONSTITUTION: A safety helmet comprises a fixture (100) which is formed with hinge bosses (110) on both sides, at least one rotator which is hinged to the hinge bosses of the fixture on both sides so as to be retracted to surround the fixture, or to be spread to form a hemisphere with the fixture, and a locking means which is equipped in the hinge bosses and the hemisphere so as to maintain the state that the rotator is spread to the fixture. The locking means comprises rotation prevention grooves (120) which are respectively formed inside the fixture and the rotator, a hinge pin (130) which is combined to the hinge bosses to be movable to the axial direction, and formed with rotation prevention projections at the position corresponding to the rotation prevention grooves, which are inserted into or separated from the rotation prevention grooves corresponding to each position upon the position movement to the axial direction, and a spring which is mounted on the hinge boss, and provides the elastic restoring force so as to maintain the state that the rotation prevention projections of the hinge pin are inserted into and united with the rotation prevention grooves. |
