<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of stably and properly controlling the quantity of a two-component developer discharged through a discharge opening even if the rotating speed of a carrying member is changed. <P>SOLUTION: In a partition wall 47, both longitudinal ends of which have openings, a shielding part 52 is formed on the surface thereof opposite to a conveying screw 46. The shielding part 52 has a wall structure of damming a flow of a two-component developer at a position higher than the central height of a return screw 50, and is positioned at the edge of an opening 47a and formed integral with the partition wall 47. Thus, the two-component developer is guided to the discharge opening 53 through a space interposed between a development container 42 and the return screw 50 which is hardly influenced by rotating speeds of the conveying screws 45, 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
