The circuit corrects the contour of video signal by reducing the delay of the signal and removing overshoot and undershoot according to the signal level. Its main purpose is to reduce transmission time of both horizontal and vertical directions. The circuit includes a Y/C separator (23) for separating composite video signal to luminance and chroma signal, horizontal delay time reducers (24,27) for reducing transmission delay and smoothly emphasizing the contour of horizontal direction, vertical delay time reducers (25,28), a demodulator (31) for obtaining I,Q signal from the separated chroma signal from the Y/C separator (23), and a matrix section (30). |
