<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for use in transmitting information about a device such as an IC card or a reader/writer and capable of receiving from a nearby device the electric power required for communications. <P>SOLUTION: The device is supplied with electric power by means of an electric wave from the sending and receiving part of a device body to eliminate the need to supply power by wire or the like.
