Method for installing sanitary equipment

The method involves forming an end cover (12) of a sanitary equipment (9) by a rigid composite material, where the end cover is adapted to partly support a load of the equipment and a user. A decorative external face of the composite material is realized on an outer side of the end cover. A final lining is placed on a floor. A container (10) is fixed for collecting bath water from top of the end cover such that an upper outer rim (10a) of the container comes in contact with an upper rim (12a) of the end cover. An independent claim is also included for a kit for installing a sanitary equipment such as bath-tub or shower in a toilet.
