PLANT WATERING SYSTEM A long-term plant watering system comprising a gelled mixture of water and carboxymethyl cellulose into which an agricultural chemical, such as a fertilizer, has been inserted, or dissolved. The gelled structure of the water/carboxymethyl cellulose is broken down by bacteria normally present on the soil, so as to release a slow, steady supply of water and nutrients to the plant.
