The floating body is prepd. by (a) forming the outer and inner skins of foam layer (2) made of thermosetting resin, (b) forming grooves on the outer skin (1) of foam layer (2), and (c) forming a hollow (5) within the inner skin (3). The form layer (2) is made by epoxy resin, phenol resin, urethane resin or phenoxyl resin.
