A variable displacement swash plate type compressor is provided to minimize the number of components and reduce manufacturing cost by directly supporting one end of an axial elastic member supporting a driving shaft with a cylinder. A variable displacement swash plate type compressor comprises: a cylinder block(110); a front housing(120) and a rear housing(130) mounted in both ends of the cylinder block respectively; a driving shaft(140) passing through the front housing and the cylinder block; a rotor(144) positioned in a crank case(121) formed with the front housing and the cylinder block; a swash plate(148) which is hinge-coupled with the rotor and rotates with the rotor; and an axial elastic member(146) supporting a piston(115) connected to the swash plate and one end of the driving shaft. The driving shaft supports the one end of the axial elastic member. A washer(162) is interposed between the axial elastic member and the driving shaft. |
