The present invention relates to a novel microalgae Chlamydomonas moewusii KNUA 013 strain (KCTC12065BP) and A method for producing heptadecane, hexadecenol, and C_16 to C_18 fatty acid from the same. The Chlamydomonas moewusii KNUA 013 strain (KCTC12065BP) of the present invention can autotrophically biosynthesize heptadecane which is directly usable as fuel, without an interesterification reaction, and can produce, as main ingredients, fatty alcohol (hexadecenol, C_20H_4O) and other microalgae biodiesel components (palmitic acid (C16:0), hexadecatetraenoic acid (C16:4), and oleic acid (C18:1)). Therefore, the Chlamydomonas moewusii KNUA 013 strain (KCTC12065BP) of the present invention is useful as a raw material for producing biodiesel. |
