The back-flushable filter (1) has a housing (2), an inlet (3) for the medium to be filtered, a screen (4), an outlet (5) for the filtered medium and a wastewater outlet (6). The filter also has two filter chambers (7) separated from each other in the housing. The filter chambers have two sealable openings (11,14). One of the openings is opened and the other opening is closed. An independent claim is also included for a method for filtering of liquid filter media. |
