The lye pump (3) has a cylindrical prechamber (10) whose axis is arranged parallel to an axis of a drive (8) of the lye pump. A fluid guide (11) of the prechamber is outwardly coupled with a cover (15) i.e. screw cap, with axial ring seals (16, 17) for closing the prechamber. The fluid guide is formed as a front wall (12) of a cylindrical pump chamber (7) with a central flow opening (13). Seals are designed as radial seals and provided with a starting cone. The ring seals are formed between an inner cylinder ring (20) of the prechamber and an outer cylinder ring (19) of the fluid guide.
