A far-infrared imaging device comprises: an imaging element that generates an image corresponding to far-infrared radiation from an obstacle; a temperature controller that controls the imaging element to be at temporally different temperatures; and a detector that detects at least one of the emissivity and the temperature of the obstacle on the basis of the output of the image that has been generated by the imaging element in each state of having been controlled to be at different temperatures by the temperature controller.
