The insert (1) has mixing elements (2a-2c) interconnected by node points (6) e.g. node bodies (15), that are arranged in node planes (5a, 5b). The elements include crossing bars (3a-3c, 4a-4c) arranged behind one other along a longitudinal axis (7) of the insert. The elements are arranged opposite to each other with respect to the longitudinal axis around angles (8, 9). Crossing plane groups (20, 30) include different orientation. Length of one of the elements is greater than 0.5 time of envelope diameter (10) of the insert and smaller than 1 time of the envelope diameter.
