An optical film, an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) by using the same and a method for measuring the removal performance of pollution material of the optical film are provided to evaluate the contaminant attached on the surface of the optical film quantitatively by means of the difference of haze between the contaminant area and the non-contaminant area of the optical film. Two sheets of panels are bonded so that a display panel is formed. A lower polarizing film is attached on the rear surface of the display panel. A polarizing film(100) polarizes the emitted incidence light. A coating layer(110) is formed on the polarizing film. The coating layer has the surface energy less than 20mN/m at the area of above 0.1 micrometer calculation average roughness or above 2 micrometer ten point average roughness. The surface energy is also less than 15mN/m. The coating layer is any one among a reinforcing layer for reinforcing the hardness of a film, a glare prevention layer, a reflection prevention layer and a static electricity prevention layer. |
