The present invention relates to an apparatus and a ship for preventing the approach of pirates, which are to prevent pirates from approaching a ship. To be more particular, the present invention relates to an apparatus and a ship for preventing the approach of pirates including high-pitched tone generating speakers and a crew protective soundproof room, which can allow crew to escape to a soundproof room during the approach of pirates by installing speakers around the ship for generating a high-pitched tone, which is difficult for people to endure, and including the soundproof room for blocking the high-pitched tone, and can prevent the approach of the pirates by generating the high-pitched tone, which is difficult for the pirates to endure, through the speakers. The apparatus and the ship for preventing the approach of pirates comprise: speakers which are installed at more than two places and output a high-pitched tone of 1500-2500 khz at a size of 100-160 decibel which is difficult for people to endure; a pirate approach signal providing unit which is to notify of the approach of pirates; a controller which controls the speakers to output a high-pitched tone of 1500-2500 khz at a size of 100-160 decibel which is difficult for people to endure when a pirate approach signal is provided by the pirate approach signal providing unit; and a crew protective soundproof room which protects crew inside the ship by blocking the sound from the speakers outputted by the controller.
