Provided is an apparatus for measuring the weight of a converter which includes: a first weight sensor which is positioned on the upper part of the shaft of a converter, and which is capable of sensing weight changes; a second weight sensor which is positioned on the lower part of the shaft of a converter, and which is capable of sensing weight changes; and a weight calculating unit capable of receiving weight information from the first and second weight sensors and measuring the weight of the converter. Despite the change in the center of mass of the converter, a precise measuring of the weight of the converter is possible by minimizing errors. |
